Corie's team qualified in the Louisiana Regional tourn. on June 29, 2001, for the National Pony Tourn. for 8 and under in Burleson. The teams came from as far as California and only the top two from each Regional Tourn. qualified. The tourn. was held in Burleson, Tx and started July 18, 2001 thru July 21, 2001. Well now that I have filled the background here it goes!!!!!! THEY TOOK 2ND PLACE (FOR THE NATION). Not bad for the first time that they ever played slowpitch. (this team has played fastpitch for 3 yrs together).
